Cookies and browser storage.

Necessary cookies support forms, account access and your privacy choices. Optional Meta advertising tools load only after you allow advertising and measurement. Google Ads tracking and Google Analytics are not currently enabled.

1. Public website

avio_enquiry_session

Purpose: protects the enquiry form and helps prevent duplicate or abusive submissions. Scope: first-party, /avio-site/. Duration: browser session. The cookie is Secure and HttpOnly with SameSite=Lax. Some browsers can restore session cookies when restoring a browsing session.

avio_catalogue

Purpose: protects the catalogue download form and identifies a private server-side session that reuses the submitted mobile number or email for a fixed 60 minutes. The cookie contains only a random session identifier, not the contact details. Each download is recorded with that submitted contact route. Scope: first-party, /avio-site/. Cookie lifetime: browser session; the contact-reuse window expires after 60 minutes even if the browser restores the cookie. The cookie is Secure and HttpOnly with SameSite=Lax. Use Manage Download Session on the Catalogues page to end reuse. This does not delete existing download records or give marketing consent.

Ordinary public product and online reader pages do not require the download contact form. We do not store a page-by-page reading history in a separate visitor analytics database. Hosting security/access logs can still record requests for pages, images and PDF parts.

__Host-avio_privacy

Purpose: remembers a signed advertising/privacy choice and a random reference to its private receipt. Scope: first-party, host-only, entire AVIO website. Lifetime: up to 180 days, or until replaced by a new choice. It is Secure and HttpOnly with SameSite=Lax. It contains no name, mobile number or email address.

avio_privacy_stop

Purpose: a necessary opt-out safeguard when saving or withdrawing a choice. It prevents advertising from restarting if the preference service cannot confirm the change. It is cleared after a successful preference save; if a save fails, it can remain for up to 180 days. It contains only an off flag.

Optional Meta advertising

On eligible public marketing pages, accepting advertising allows the Meta Pixel and related identifiers, which can include first-party cookies such as _fbp and _fbc. Meta uses browser/device information, IP address, visited-page and advertising identifiers, and event types for advertising and measurement and may match them with its users. We do not add the contents of enquiry fields, dealer accounts, orders or prices to advertising event payloads.

Advertising scripts and requests remain blocked until a valid affirmative choice. Declining, an unconfirmed choice, or a supported browser privacy signal keeps them off. These advertising tools do not run in the dealer/team service, on legal pages or in the PDF download contact form. No optional Google advertising or Analytics cookies are enabled at this stage.

Meta controls the cookie lifetimes and platform copies. See its Cookies Policy and Business Tools Terms; the latter permit Event Data retention for a maximum of two years. Browser restrictions can shorten or block cookies. A six-month AVIO preference lifetime is separate from Meta's cookie or data retention.

Office Maps

The Contact page automatically loads embedded Google Maps for both offices. Opening that page connects your browser to Google, which may use its own cookies and technical browser/device information under its Privacy Policy and Maps terms. Map loading is separate from Meta advertising permission and does not activate Google Ads or Analytics. No separate map-loading choice is saved by AVIO.

2. Dealer/team test and installed web app

__Secure-avio_mobile_test

Purpose: authenticated access to the separate /avio-test/ service. It is Secure and HttpOnly with SameSite=Strict. A normal login uses a session cookie; selecting the remember-device option can extend the login for up to 30 days. Server-side expiry, sign-out or a password change can end access earlier.

The test app uses session storage for an unfinished order draft and a service-worker cache for static app resources. Private order API responses are not placed in the offline app cache. Browser storage can be cleared by you or the browser and is not a substitute for saving an order request.

3. Your controls

You can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. This may interrupt form protection, login or an unfinished draft. Sign out before clearing a shared device; delete the site's stored data when handing the device to another person. Deleting cookies does not delete enquiry, download or order records already saved by AVIO.

The banner offers equally clear Necessary only and Accept advertising choices. You may keep browsing without accepting advertising. The Cookie settings control in the footer lets you change or withdraw the choice. Where an advertising connection is not ready, the optional setting remains unavailable and no advertising tag is loaded.

On withdrawal, AVIO stops its optional event calls, informs a loaded advertising tag of the changed choice, clears accessible first-party advertising cookies and reloads with advertising blocked. It cannot remove third-party platform cookies or automatically erase previously shared platform data. Your necessary form/login cookies and saved business records remain separate.

We store a private receipt of the choice, version, time, expiry and revocation, identified by a random reference. Its automatic deletion period remains under review. Public browsing, an enquiry or a catalogue request is not itself advertising consent. Adding another advertising provider or a materially different purpose requires an updated notice and, where appropriate, a fresh choice.

4. External services and questions
